Blood Type Formula
"A"
This blood type is, according to
popular blood type diet theory, a vegetables/cereals/grains diet type of
individual, who does best with a variety of vegetables and grains in their
diet. Type ‘A’ people do best eating smaller meals throughout the day.
When snacking, they can have a tendency to eat too many sweet and salty
snacks. Substituting veggies in place of processed snacks is best for these
individuals.
A Type ‘A’ individual should
emphasize Yoga or gentle stretching type exercises in their lifestyle
because this individual has the greatest likelihood of experiencing a build
up of excess fluids in the body which results in systemic oxygen deprivation
and congestive conditions of the respiratory system and kidney stress. To
stay emotionally and mentally focused, this individual should take a couple
of short naps during the day. A regular sleep schedule throughout this
person’s life and having access to clean flowing water (river, streams,
falls, etc.) is essential to staving off illness, exhaustion and emotional
collapse.
When Type ‘A’ individuals are in
an acute health crisis, e.g. general cold & flu symptoms, they are best
served by a temporary diet that minimizes all grains and emphasizes lightly
steamed vegetables with constitutionally warming foods until the crisis
passes.
