LIV/GALL

Everything we eat must be passed and filtered through the liver, known also as the filter for the body.  The liver is o the right side of the body, below the diaphragm.  The gallbladder lies directly under the bottom of the liver, at the top of the transverse colon.  The liver is the body's life guard.   It has several functions including the storing of certain vitamins, building of fat molecules to meet the body's needs, amino acid molecules to form the kinds of proteins which the body uses, converting and storing of carbohydrates and combating poisons that may come into the body.  It also produces bile.  About halfway between the liver and the duodenum the gallbladder is connected to the bile carrying duct.  The gallbladder is a small hollow sac that that serves as a reservoir for the bile until it is needed in the process of digestion.  The bile does not contain any digestive enzymes, but it does help to emulsify the fat which comes into the duodenum.

These are just some of the important functions of the liver and gallbladder, of course.  When we eat junk foods, strong caffeine products, and especially alcohol, etc, we then tax our liver heavily.  The reason alcohol makes us high or drunk is because it cannot be processed by the liver (it passes through without being filtered properly), it then goes directly into the blood stream.  In time the liver begins to break down from the alcohol and chemicals found in junk foods.  This formula contains the following high quality Chinese herbs.600 mg,100 cp.
