BERGAMOT

(Citrus bergamia)

Our Bergamot essential oil is expressed exclusively from the peel of the bergamot fruit grown in Southern Italy. No chemicals or solvents are used in the extraction process creating the finest bergamot essential oil in the world.

Bergamot acts primarily on the nervous system where it can soothe and invigorate. The balancing effects of this oil have been esteemed since the sixteenth century for its ability to alleviate depression and nervousness by calming and lifting the spirit. Bergamot is an exceptional deodorizer when used in a diffuser or atomizer.

PROPERTIES: Antidepressant, gentle antiseptic, deodorant, mild stimulant.

BLENDS WELL WITH: All citrus oils, clary sage, frankincense, geranium, lavender and neroli.

For a refreshing room fragrance: Blend 5 drops each of bergamot and geranium. Add with water to an essential oil burner, atomizer, or lamp ring diffuser.

For times of stress and tension: Reduce symptoms of stress and tension by smelling 3 drops of bergamot on a tissue.

For an uplifting massage: Combat lethargy or the morning blues. Blend 12 drops of bergamot with 1 ounce of almond oil. Apply with brisk strokes.

For a relaxing bath: Balancing properties can relax the body and calm the nerves. Add 8 drops of bergamot to the bath or add 8 drops of bergamot to one tablespoon of bath oil base and mix in bath.

For a refreshing facial mist: Add 10 drops to 2 oz water in an atomizer. Lightly mist the face and neck.
